Microsoft MVP Summit 2026
Microsoft Campus

I’m heading to the Microsoft Campus in Redmond, Washington for the 2026 Microsoft MVP Summit. This is the annual private gathering for Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) and Regional Directors (RDs). It’s one of the events I genuinely look forward to every year. At the annual MVP Summit, we have a chance to connect directly with Microsoft product teams, hear what’s coming next, and spend time with the broader MVP community.

What is MVP Summit

The MVP Summit is a private, invite-only event hosted by Microsoft for MVPs and RDs from around the world. It’s not a public conference. Most of what happens at MVP Summit is covered under NDA, but the core value is simple: we get direct access to the people building the products, we have honest conversations about what’s working and what isn’t, and we spend time with a community of technical leaders who care deeply about the Microsoft ecosystem.

Highlights of MVP Summit

  • Direct access to product teams – sessions with the engineers and PMs behind Azure, AI, developer tools, and many more Microsoft products.
  • Early roadmap discussions – under NDA, but the conversations are real and candid.
  • Community connection – hallway conversations with MVPs and RDs from across the globe.
  • Feedback that matters – Microsoft uses this event to get structured input from community experts before shipping features.

What I’m Looking Forward To

With everything happening in AI, the cloud, and developer tooling right now, I’m especially interested in hearing from the teams working on Azure, Microsoft Foundry, GitHub Copilot, and the dev platform more broadly. I’ll also be looking for connections with other MVPs who are doing interesting things with agents, spec-driven development, and cloud-native architectures.

Overall, the MVP Summit is a unique opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at where Microsoft is headed and to connect with the people who are shaping the future of technology. I’m excited to be part of it again this year!
