Virtual event

If you’ve been experimenting with coding agents (or GitHub Copilot) and you’re tired of unpredictable output, this session is about putting clear specs, constraints, and acceptance criteria in front of the agent so it can ship what you actually meant.

Presentation

Spec Driven development with GitHub Spec Kit

Spec Kit is a practical way to move from “vibe coding” to spec-driven, repeatable AI-assisted delivery.

Spec-Driven Development flips AI coding from guesswork to building exactly what’s needed. In this talk, I’ll share how Spec Kit turns clear specs into executable plans and working applications, giving AI coding agents the context and constraints they need to ship value that stays aligned with the business and the customer.

We’ll cover things like:

  • What “spec-driven development” means in practice (and where it fits in real teams)
  • How a good spec changes agent behavior (scope, correctness, and fewer surprises)
  • Turning a spec into an executable plan the agent can follow
  • Patterns for iterating: refining requirements, closing gaps, and keeping alignment
