I’ll be speaking at AgentCamp Milwaukee on Monday, April 13, 2026 with a session on one of the biggest reasons agents fail in the real world: bad context design. If you’re building enterprise AI systems, this session is focused on the grounding, memory, and retrieval choices that determine whether an agent stays useful in production or starts to drift.

Presentation

Grounding, Memory, and Retrieval: Designing Agent Context That Does Not Collapse in Production

Most agent failures are context failures. In this session, I’ll walk through how to design grounding and memory strategies that support enterprise reliability, including when to use short-term conversation context, durable memory, structured knowledge sources, and retrieval pipelines backed by Azure AI Services.

We’ll cover retrieval tradeoffs, freshness problems, tenant isolation, and how to keep agents from pulling too much irrelevant context into the decision loop. The goal is to give you practical patterns for improving answer quality and task completion without turning every request into an expensive, opaque retrieval stack.

This session is a good fit for:

  • Architects designing agent and copilot systems for enterprise use
  • Developers building RAG, memory, and tool-using workflows
  • Teams trying to improve answer quality, reliability, and operational clarity in production AI systems

Event Highlights

  • Deep-dive talks from AI practitioners working on real-world agent systems
  • Technical sessions on building, deploying, and scaling AI agents
  • Practical discussion of memory, retrieval, and grounding patterns that hold up in production
  • Networking with other developers, architects, and AI builders in the Milwaukee community
  • A free, community-driven event from the Global AI Community

If you’ll be there, I’d love to connect.
